This research is performed both within the Lucy Software labs in Munich and Barcelona as well as in cooperation with universities and other research facilities.
The EuroMatrix Project
EuroMatrix aims at a major push in machine translation (MT) technology applying the most advanced MT technologies systematically to all pairs of EU languages.
From 2009, Lucy Software is one of the partners in the European EuroMatrix Plus project. The key focus is on further research into so-called hybrid solutions that bring together statistical and rule-based approaches to MT in order to achieve new advances in MT quality.
